I am giving away this gorgeous 1970's pattern for the dress or top.
Just right for spring 2011 with so many lovely 1970's inspired clothes back in the shops.
It's uncut and it's a multisize pattern bust 34 inch to 40 inch that's bust 87cm to 102cm in metric.
Just to clarify it doesn't include the cream skirt but it does include the dress and shirt.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is be a follower and leave a comment.

Ooooh how lovely! I would certainly like to be in with a chance of extending my pattern collection. I love the full skirt on this dress! x
ReplyDeleteHi kat, Thank you for entering. Just to clarify the pattern doesn't include the seperate cream skirt but it does include the dress and shirt.Slightly confusing I realise. You could off course use the skirt part of the dress and add a waistband or perhaps some elastic at the top if you used a lightweight fabric and you wanted to keep it simple
ReplyDeleteYeah i did figure out that there was not a skirt pattern, but like you say it was a bit confusing! I still like it as a dress though so thought i would try my luck :) Not sure i am proficient enough to be altering patterns just yet, but hopefully the time will come!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm new here, linked here from Casey's blog. I enjoyed reading your write up on the vintage fair prep. i lament i don't have one to go to!

ReplyDeleteOoh what a lovely giveaway! The dress is beautiful. I'm finding myself increasingly drawn to 1970s styles.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great! So few patterns from the 1970's are easily updated to our modern tastes but this one is perfect just the way it is! Thanks so much for telling me about your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna, Thanks for entering.Glad you like the pattern. yes I do think This dress could easily work with a more modern wardrobe. I could see it as a good pattern for a smart black dress for work or make it in a pretty print for the weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the look of this pattern. The shirt would be gorgeous with high waisted pants.
ReplyDeleteI'm following your blog through google reader:-)
Just found you through Sew Retro. I LOVE your polkadot background, and its blue!! Nice giveaway, and its always easier when its multisize :)
