I'm not sure about making a proper bra either or as you say the correct straps.so I thought i'd try making a bikini top in gingham. I've also been making a pattern for bikini bottoms/undies which I've nearly finished so I thought I could combine the two and make a bikini or make a swimsuit using the pattern as the top or I could use it as the top for a fitted dress. so many options....
